Simone Lamsma will make her debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra coming week performing the Britten Violin Concerto in 4 concerts at the Chicago Symphony Center from 5-8 June 2014 under Maestro Jaap van Zweden.

This week Simone will make her Cleveland Orchestra debut, replacing an indisposed Janine Jansen. Simone will perform Britten’s Violin Concerto under Maestro Vladimir Jurowski in concerts on 29 and 31 May at Severance Hall.

On 6 May from 4.30-6.00 Simone will be guest on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ with Suzy Klein. She will talk and perform live in the studio. To listen live online please click here.

From 20 February Simone will embark on a 3-week tour to Hong Kong and China.
Coming week she will collaborate with the Baptist University Symphony Orchestra, culminating in a gala concert on 23 February at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. After that, Simone be the soloist on the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra’s tour to China. She will perform Beethoven Violin Concerto with Jaap van Zweden in Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen and Guangzhou.

In March 2014 Simone will be embarking on a tour of China with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra under their chief conductor Jaap van Zweden. She’ll be performing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen and Guangzhou.

Coming week on 27, 28 and 29 September 2013 Simone will be returning to the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra to perform Martinu’s Second Violin Concerto under Jiří Bělohlávek.

Concerts will take place in de Doelen Rotterdam (27 and 29 September) and at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam (26 September).
The concert in Amsterdam is part of the ‘ZaterdagMatinee’ concert series, where Simone is a frequent soloist, returning for the 5th time. This concert will be broadcast live on Saturday 26 September at 14.15 via the following link.

On 19 April 2013 Simone will perform Beethoven Violin Concerto with the BBC Symphony Orchestra under Martyn Brabbins on only a few days notice, replacing the originally scheduled soloist.
The concert will take place at 19.30 (UK time) at the Barbican in London and will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.

On 13 March from 19.00 Simone’s live performance of the Korngold violin concerto with Edo de Waart and the Royal Flemish Philharmonic will be broadcast on Belgian classical radio station Klara. The concert took place on 22 February in Gent.

This week Simone will be performing at the Verbier Festival at Schloss Elmau, collaborating with some wonderful artists during 3 chamber music concerts. Concerts are on 26, 28 and 30 November, with works by Mozart, Glinka, Mendelssohn and Dvořák.

On Friday 6 July 2012 Simone will perform Brahms’ Violin Concerto with the Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor James Gaffigan at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. The concert will be broadcast live on Dutch classical music station Radio 4 and is part of the ‘Robeco Zomerconcerten 2012’.

Coming week Simone will make her Australian debut performing the Mendelssohn Concerto in E minor with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra under Oleg Caetani, replacing the originally scheduled soloist. Performances will take place on 23 and 24 March 2012 at 7.30 at Perth Concert Hall.
